The Bento Large Wall Sconce from Hubbardton Forge, unfortunately, does not have a delicious meal nestled inside, but, much like its traditional wooden Japanese lunchbox counterpart, it is graceful and refined in its design. Delicate indented arms protruding from the rectangular mount hold the sleek lamp shade, which tapers gently at the center. The tapered lamp shade fans out light and makes for a nice ambient glow. It is a versatile design that works well against walls without direct overhead lighting, making for an elegant transitional light.
Hubbardton Forge, headquartered in Castleton, Vermont, hand-forges simple and elegant metal lighting fixtures and accessories, combining ancient hand-forging techniques with environmentally-sound finishing practices.
