These are very pretty and are more of a bronze than a gold or brass. They don't really match my Kohler plumbing so might spray them. The main and only real issue is the shades. The way they are installed is over the bulb which can make them flimsy and they aren't straight. Half the sconces are straight and the other half are crooked so the lamp shade sits on the wall
