I love my new chandelier! I actually bought the pendent by mistake, but just didn't install the bar piece and just put it directly on the ceiling. I would have given this five stars except it arrived with a scratch.

Uniquely contemporary
We purchased this uniquely contemporary light for the finishing touch to our kitchen/dining area remodel and it was perfect over our Italian ultra clear glass table. It gives off an amber glow that I would call mood lighting. It might not be bright enough for some, but it worked perfectly in our space. It is a bit pricey, but we didn't see anything that came close to this for style, beauty, mood, and color in the cheaper contemporary catagory.
Looks great in our expansive stairwell....
We have owned this for just over 2 years now and no regrets. Very stylish pendant and it really does look fantastic in our huge stair well. It does not cast a ton of light but it suits are needs great as we have supplemental lighting in that area and do not need it to be the be all end all illumination there. In two years haven't come across a pendant I would have preferred for that space.
Disappointing Lamp
The interior piece of this lamp is plastic and glows a pumpkin orange when lit, even with cool fluorescents. The rest of the light is high quality metal - very heavy and well done. It is a shame they ruined the whole appearance with the plastic part. We actually found a glass vase that fit the center and had it sandblasted. It looks amazing now.
Fabulous Pendant
We purchased this fixture for our dining room from a picture in a magazine. It is fabulous BUT casts a very dim amber glow even on the highest setting of the dimmer. We did purchase the citrine ice diffuser (center tube) from our lighting store through Corbett that is actually menat for this fixture in the silver leaf finish, and it does give off more light. The original diffuser is beautiful with the fixture but not great for dining. So, if you need more light, buy the other diffuser. Hope this helps you. It is a piece of art and everyone loves it.
