Beautiful but rusted

I really like the timeless look of the glass globes and brass for our Victorian era dining room but this rusted quite a lot over the past two years. It's really pretty damaged and I want to replace it and I was hoping for something to last a decade or more. Our home is not unusually humid or anything - nothing else has ever rusted and I have a lot of brass decor including the switch plates in the same room. So clearly it's an issue with the chandelier

Our condo is almost 100 years old. And I was looking for a light fixture for a dining room to match already existing corridor fixtures. So I needed something neutral and fun, something that will turn a traditional condo into a more youthful, easygoing space. But won't look out of place at the same time. And it feels like I made a great choice! The chandelier is perfect, and delivery was smooth and trouble less. First time ordering from lumens but definitely not the last one.

Good looking and good quality. I have some suggestions for the design improvement. 1. The glass globe threads are too short. There are only about two threads engaged during the assembly. I may have to flatten the metal cup to gain two more threads for reliability. 2. The ceiling mount is too shallow. It was hard to push in some of the fixture wires and nuts. It also left a small gap between the ceiling and the cover. Those two design issues were not show stoppers. The light looks beautiful and functions great.
