hinkleylighting.comThis chandelier is really beautiful but there is room for improvement. In the photos of it, when the light is on it appears to glow gold from within. I was thinking it was coated in gold on the inside but it's not. As it turns out it's the same dark metal in and out. When I take a pic with my iPhone it really glows gold, from the bulbs. I just would've liked more gold. Don't get me wrong, it's still gorgeous. The other thing that could be improved is that between the 2 rows of "ribbon" the bulb shows through painfully bright, even when dimmed. I would have loved there to be a shade lining the perimeter on the inside to soften the harshness. I still gave it 4 stars as I love it, despite those areas of improvement.

We installed the gold version in our bedroom. It is a statement piece. I love how it looks 3 years later. A few things to consider. Be aware of the plate on top if you have a ceiling medallion as this may affect installation. Also, this does not really illuminate a space as it is metal. The light streams around the metal ribbons. You will need additional lighting in the room if you want more lighting. Enjoy this stunning piece!
