We live in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada where the summer weather is nice and warm but our winter weather can be extreme cold. We wish there were instructions on how to "winterize" the fan. Snow and cold is very different than rain (which was mentioned). If you could share your thoughts on winterizing this fan, we would greatly appreciate it, Material states composite - what does that mean to us? What weight can the blades hold of "snow load?" Also, We love the light - very nice...
