It was relatively easy to assemble and install, though there are numerous "extra" parts that have no seeming use and others that are described but missing. Once together it works well, though I wish mine had been delivered with the Hinkley receiver part that doesn't beep each time the light and fan are turned on and off (apparently this is one of the last of a few handfuls remaining with the old receiver part). It moves air silently and well throughout the six speeds and the light dimming is flicker free. Overall, a great fan.
I would buy this product again.

hinkleylighting.comThis fan is a 72" Hinkley Artiste and we love it, although with a major caveat. Our bedroom is 14 x 20 and just needed something other than the usual 52" run of the mill ceiling fan. After looking at hundreds, and I mean hundreds of fans over the course of 2 years we decided on this one. Yeah, I know, but being retired I have a lot of time for research. Anyway, I narrowed the search down to 9 or 10 fans from different companies and my wife picked this one, and I'm glad she did. It is an absolute awesome fan for our bedroom!! Anyone who has seen it absolutely loves it, and the 72" size makes it all the more striking. We always sleep with the fan running and now we feel air movement on more than just our feet, which is a major plus. I bought this with a wall switch rather than a remote and installation was a breeze. However, what I fault Hinkley for, along with every other manufacturer as far as I know, is the light output of this fan. Remember above when I said I looked at hundreds of fans? Part of our needs, and something that was a must, was a fan with good light output. We had 1800 lumens in the old fan situated in 4 hanging globes and we could adjust that just by replacing the light bulbs. This fan came with just 1500 lumens built in, with a frosted light cover that made the light output what I consider to be poor. Certainly not what was needed for our large bedroom. Fortunately, I was able to find a replacement light fixture to correct that. Bottomline, awesome fan but needs better light.
