The only quality issue is that one of of the lamps (we bought 2) had a frayed cord cover at the end where the wires are (not the plug end.) Because of the frayed cover I had to use a small screwdriver to shove the frayed material through the grommet and into the lamp base so it wouldn't be seen. This was tedious and time consuming. My bigger issue with the product is that as-is, you can NOT install this as a flush wall mount. They give you the materials to mount into a junction box. That will work. However, if you mount this flush to the wall, as they state you can do in the instructions, you will first have to go to the store and buy 1" 8/32 screws. The lamp comes with 1.25" 8/32 screws which will work if you connect to a junction box. However if you try to mount flush to the wall, the 1.25" screws will stick out too far and you can't screw the cap down snug so you must get a shorter screw.

I am so glad we went with the Hinkley light. It's gorgeous and so well made. The brass tone is perfect. We have two above our fireplace on each side of the wall. Well worth the money and will definitely last a lifetime as the design is timeless and the product is top notch!

hinkleylighting.comWe had a dark area over a sectional sofa with no way to put a table lamp nearby. This works perfectly. I paired it with a smart bulb so I can turn it on and off and dim it with my phone. And it looks great! It can swivel... You'll just need to add a little WD-40 since it initially stuck.
