Installing is tough

hinkleylighting.comI would give the product a 5 but the bolts to hold the pan to the ceiling are short and because of the insulation foam you have a difficult time getting them lined up and pushed through the holes. When you do get the bolt to peek thru you cannot put the lock washer and nut on without losing the end and starting over. You leave off the lock washers and thank God you are done with it.

Comments about Cambridge Flushmount
We spent weeks looking for fixtures and ultimately decided on this model primarily because "solid brass" construction was stated in the description. Please be aware that there is no solid brass on this fixture. There are some parts (base finial and arms) that appear to be some sort of solid metal, but it is not brass. In addition, the optic glass shade is debatably glass at all, is full of air bubbles and feel and looks like plastic. The fixture is very light-weight, overpriced, and cheap looking. The saving grace is that it will be installed at an elevation high enough that a casual observer may not notice the quality.
