hinkleylighting.comThis is a beautiful, modern lantern. It's a true matte black finish with an updated "candle" design. Rather than white candles that need replacing over time, this fixture features an all black metal candle giving it a more modern look. I like that the lantern does not have a metal top because this design allows the light to reflect upward as well as outward. My old light was incandescent and had 3 LED compatible bulbs. Although this 17.5" LED fixture only has 2 bulbs, it provides plenty of light around my home. The light fixture is quite sturdy even though it is mostly glass. This lantern was packaged well, required no assembly, had detailed installation instructions and was easy to install. I would highly recommend this quality light fixture or any other Hinkley fixture.
Terrible choice of screws

hinkleylighting.comThe screws used to remove the housing to clean the lights are awful. So soft they strip easily. I have 9 lights and I had the issue on 6 lights. A two hr job to clean the lights became a 7 hour job. If you buy this light also buy better screws!!

hinkleylighting.comWith three 60 watt equipment bulbs these lamps are very bright. 40 watts would be just fine. These lamps look great and are good quality. Love the clear glass and black finish. Also the size is just right for our house.
