Beautiful but Missing Finial
This Hinkley LED lantern is a beautiful addition to our back patio area. We ordered the black finish with clear seeded glass. We wanted the LED since the bulbs last for 20 years and this post lamp is difficult to access in our backyard. FYI, we already had a post with lantern, and this lantern replaced the previous. The price does not include a post. The light quality is warm and bright, which was a nice discovery since the web description did not mention the LED color and I feared it might be the blue-white daylight. Fortunately the bulb has a yellow color canopy which makes the light quality very pleasing. Buyer beware: our lantern arrived without the top finial piece. I contacted Lumens customer service and they contacted the manufacturer who sent the missing piece promptly. Also, this fixture requires an experienced electrician. The packing material was actually screwed into the lantern interior, and our electrician had to take the fixture apart to install. It was easy for him, but I would not recommend this lantern to a do-it-yourselfer.
