Instead of upward, the Hinkley Lighting Hardy Island Directional Well Light is designed to cast its light out and down. It features solid cast brass construction, with three petite windows fitted with clear tempered glass lenses. These windows focus the light to provide low, all-around illumination of the surrounding area.

Perfect for lighting up an area an not blinding
Since March 2018 we have purchased and installed 49 of these lights on piers. Since they recess into the decking/ground they do not cause a trip hazard. The directional cover on top sends the light out the sides instead of on the top. This gives the ground area the light and is not blinding while walking past them. We are very pleased with this product and have had no issues at all.
