Easy to assemble. Came w/light bulb. Sturdy base but pole/top piece feels a little less sturdy/more likely to wobble. The only way to adjust height is mini Allen wrench vs being part of the lamp design. Am keeping lamp. Need another floor lamp but not this one….

We had a similar lamp previously and wanted to replace it with a model that was better made. We are very pleased. The lamp shade can rotate 360 degrees, so its possible to use it as a torchiere when needed. The arm extends to adequate lengths to easily read on a sofa. The weight on the bottom is solid steel with a pad to avoid scratching the floor. The assembly was straightforward. Its a high quality of brass metallic. We bought two for either end of the sofa. The adjustable height is a bit sticky to move, but that ensures it won't slide down. Its the perfect lamp for our needs.
