The Alina Grande Pendant by Visual Comfort Modern, formerly known as Tech Lighting, elicits a refined beauty both in its gradient-colored body and smooth, rounded texture. Its opaque teardrop shade is made of hand-blown Venetian glass with a crown of clear glass to give it a fluid, floating quality. A single light source is fastened within, providing a diffused, ambient glow as well as a direct downward light through the fixture’s open base.

Alina Grande pendants look beautiful over my kitchen island. Lighting is good. We have them on a dimmer. I would absolutely buy them again.
Beautiful Shape
I have installed this light fixture on two projects and love the shape of the light. In both cases I have used the white shade to allow the maximum light transmission, which also avoids any issues with color variation. It's a simple, clean and modern light that works well in transitional or contemporary houses and looks good both on and off.

This pendant is large and lovely. It is hand made, so may have a very slight asymmetry when hung, but very slight. The smokey color is cool and elegant when the light is turned off and warm and welcoming when turned on. My husband and I installed ourselves, super easy. Also, we had exceptional customer service from the folks at ylighting.
Beautiful But...
We purchased two Alina Grande pendants. While they were both beautiful, the shading on them was significantly different. Lumens customer service was fantastic and we were promptly shipped a new piece that matches. This is a very high quality piece, thick and heavy. I love how the character of the light changes depending on whether the light is on or off, or dim.
