Comments about Frankfort Wall Sconce
This sconce is gorgeous, but it doesn't articulate the way you probably expect it to. The joint where the two horizontal bars meet only moves up and down, not side to side. The sconce is about 30" wide/deep so it will either stick out from the wall 30" or rest on the wall 30" away from the backplate. I expected it to fold in on itself and sort of tuck away so the shade would rest more or less on top of the backplate. It does not. It's very stylish, but not practical.

Comments about Frankfort Wall Sconce
I loved these sconces, but they don't articulate the way you would think. They don't fold in on themselves. They swing side to side. And the arm has an articulation point so the shade/light can go up and down. However, that joint does not articulate left/right. This means the sconce sticks out very far from the wall -- 30". You can swing it flat against the wall, but the shade will be 30" from the wall plate.

I was thrilled to pull these beauties from the packaging! They are even more stunning and substantial in person! We have not installed them yet so I cannot speak to that, but I can't wait to see them flanking my clients bed. Soooo pretty!

love this fixture! i used one on either side of a clients bed over the nightstands and love the flexibility for it to articulate and swing - also love the mixed finish + the diffuser that provides a nice glow without glaring in your face. we loved it so much we used it also in the guest bedroom.
