This stainless steel downrod by Fanimation is available in multiple finishes and lengths to accommodate a ceiling fan installation. When installing a ceiling fan, the recommended downrod length is based on the ceiling height. The ideal distance for a ceiling fan is 7 to 9 feet from the ceiling fan blades to the floor. If downrods are joined together to create the ideal distance, a downrod coupler is required.
Works with Fanimation ceiling fans that require a 1 inch diameter downrod (non-threaded) - check your existing downrod design to ensure you are selecting correctly

To extend the length of the downrod, a coupler is needed to join two downrods together
