The Hunter Original downrod is designed for rooms with high or vaulted ceiling to bring your fan down from the ceiling to the appropriate height for optimal cooling performance. With a standard 3/4-inch diameter, our Original downrods come in multiple finishes and lengths from 12 to 72 inches. This downrod only fits Hunter Original fans and is not suitable for any other fan, see documentation section on this page for guidance.

For sloped ceilings angled up to 45 degrees, use an Original® Angled Ceiling Mount (Models 22170, 22174, or 22176), sold separately

Ensure stability by using pliers to turn setscrew until firm, do not hand-tighten setscrew
