Installation Tip
To ensure the faucet works flawlessly after installation, the instructions should be followed carefully. The sprayhead is to be removed and the lines flushed prior to using the faucet for the first time. If you are experiencing this issue when using the spray, we first suggest rubbing the MasterClean rubber nozzles by hand (while the water is running) to dislodge any debris within the rubber membrane. The center section of the sprayhead can be cleaned at the same time, using a long bristled brush. Next, we recommend removing the sprayhead. You can soak/clean the sprayhead with a white vinegar and water solution (50%/50%). You can then reassemble the head to the hose.

Simple fix!

We purchased this Kohler faucet at Costco and just installed it 3 days ago. It has been 3 days of me telling my husband we will be returning it. When I checked reviews, I saw the exact problem we were having. The stream splattered everywhere. We took it apart and made sure nothing was clogging it. As a last resort we took the suggestion of wiping a wet paper towel across the nozzle. Fixed it immediately. Our guess is that the manufacturer applies some coating that must be wiped off. Please don’t give up on your new purchase! This was a very simple fix and perhaps should be listed somewhere as a helpful hint.

This Faucet is Total Garbage

If you are looking for a faucet that soaks you with water and floods your countertops, then buy this faucet immediately.
The regular steam is like a firehose and it splashes everywhere while you’re doing dishes.
Perhaps you like to change your shirt after you rinse out one mug. Perhaps your counters are so dirty that they need to be washed down with water 8 times a day. Maybe you like slipping in front of the sink after teens fill up a glass of water. If these are things you like and need, then this faucet is right for you.
Costco usually doesn’t let garbage into their stores, so I was truly surprised at how bad this terrible product is.
Do not buy.

I am writing this review to save people the trouble of returning the faucet. I had the splattering stream even after taking apart the faucet head and cleaning out the filters. I almost returned it until I read the reviews below. Jean P recommended wiping the nozzle with a damp cloth and it solved her problem. I figured there was no way that would work but I did, incredulously, wipe the nozzle with a wet paper towel. Lo and behold it fixed the splattering. I have no idea why this works, but it will save you the trouble of uninstalling it and taking it back.

Disappointed considering brand name

I bought this a month ago. I paid to have it installed. It has horrible pressure and the water doesn’t come out as a stream. It sprays out as a spray, shower like even when set on the stream. It is as if it is clogged but it’s been cleaned and it’s still a problem. This is not an efficient addition to my kitchen needs. I am so disappointed, as it is a nice looking faucet. I don’t know what to do, as I already had it installed and I don’t want to spend the money in another one, including another installation cost. I expected more from this brand. If you’re shopping for a new faucet, avoid this one.

Splatters!

Bought this faucet 3 months ago and just had it installed by a plumber last month. Unbelievably disappointing. There is not an even, smooth stream and it just splatters everywhere. It’s absolutely the worst experience doing the dishes. Our 15 year old Moen pull-down was a million times better than this. Wish I had done more due diligence - just had blind faith that Costco picks the good ones. Normally we are very happy with our Costco purchases. Not this one. Don’t get me wrong, I still love our Costco, it’s just a pain - now we have to find a replacement and find time to get the plumber back to take care of it.

A blockage within the sprayhead may cause an unstable stream. We would like to make a recommendation to help resolve this. The center section of the sprayhead can be cleaned using a long bristled brush, while the water is running. Great if you Remove the Low Flow Restrictor

Out of the box, the faucet is a disappointment. Why?
1) The restricted output of the faucet causes excess splashing. The countertop, back wall, your clothing gets splashed.
2) The whine caused by the restricted flow of the water is just plain annoying to the ears.
Luckily there is a DYI fix.
1) Unscrew the spray head from the hose (easy).
2) Using needle nose plyers or a pick tool, line up the tool with one of the 4 holes on the exit side of the spray head. With some pressure, unscrew the spray head. Remove the green restrictor/filter (a little more difficult).
3) Reassemble (easy).
The excess splashing will stop even though the output will be nearly identical. And the annoying whine is gone. Also, the spray feature is actually very good and strong on this device.

Got this for a good deal at a local Costco.Install was bit thought for me mainly due to very less room under sink due to garbage disposal als the uninstall of the old 15 year old Kohler faucet was tough. After installing had the same issue where the stream was not smooth and the water was splattering . Thanks to the great suggestion by another reviewer Jean P, wiping the nozzle with a wet cloth instantly fixed it!!! Saved me all the effort to get another one.

SHORT WATER SUPPLY LINES

Be advised the braided water supply lines attached to the faucet are too short if your water valves are straight stops coming up from the bottom of the sink cabinet. No worries if you have angle stops coming out of the back of the cabinet.
The solution is to buy two extensions (3/8 in. Compression x 3/8 in. O.D. Compression x 12 in. Braided Faucet Connector) for about $13. Otherwise get a different faucet with longer or removable water supply lines.
Faucet works okay. Didn't experience splattering issues others had.
