Disappointing

We ordered this light in gold, but were shipped the chrome color instead. When I called customer service, I was told they were out of stock of the gold so theyd shipped me a different color. I hadnt gotten any notice that they were going to do that, and obviously they're not interchangeable since most people design bathroom appliances around a specific hardware color. Then i couldnt get a refund without returning it, so I was basically just shipped a chore to do and ended up having to pay more money elsewhere to get a new light expedited because I had already waited for this one to arrive. I couldnt be more displeased with the service I received. They wouldnt even give me a merchandise credit for any money for the trouble.

Brushed nickel - manufacturing defect

I bought this light in the brushed nickel. I had the same issue with the center light not being straight that I see another poster had. And it isn't something you can jiggle into place - this is an issue with how the metal piece was attached to the horizontal bars. Disappointing as it otherwise looks very nice and would have been perfect for what I needed. Maybe the other finishes were manufactured better.

Glass shades are delicate. Despite using care to install gently one of mine cracked while tightening the retention nut. Now seeing if I can get a new one from Kohler or if I have to uninstall and return.

I had high hopes for the Kohler Orime Three-Light Wall Sconce, especially coming from a reputable brand and being sold through Costco. Unfortunately, the quality was noticeably lower than expected. Once installed, it was immediately obvious that the light fixtures where the bulbs screw in were angled incorrectly. This wasn’t a subtle defect—it was visually distracting and gave the whole fixture a crooked appearance.
The design itself is sleek and modern, which makes the misalignment even more frustrating. It’s not something that can be easily adjusted or overlooked, and it detracts from the overall aesthetic. For a product from Kohler, I expected better craftsmanship and quality control.
If you're considering this sconce, I’d recommend inspecting it closely before installation or looking into other options. It’s a beautiful concept, but the execution fell short.
