ok but thicker than I'd like

Had one of these type previously that was thinner and fit under the front of the box without significantly elevating it. This is too thick for that so I just bump it up to it which is fine but now prone to sliding around. I can also see how some cats might not prefer to walk on it and would jump over it negating it's purpose. Otherwise it's fine and traps the litter well.

No more tracking off litter through the house.

My longhaired cat used to track litter all though the house; I haven't seen any litter tracked out of the litter box since starting to use the litter mat. A major improvement! However, I have noticed cat urine in the litter mat (without seeping onto the floor), probably from my other cat who is 19 years old. As I've noticed on other reviews, all four of the mats I ordered came with a strongly set fold across the middle which is tenacious and still hasn't completely subsided since the first order arrived December 14th (it's now January 1st).

Difficult to clean

The concept is good, design is poor. I had to reach my arm into clean. I smelled like cat urine & had to shower immediately. I hope they re design. Until then, dont buy it.

Perfect for cats who scatter litter

The mat fits under the litter box, so no more wetness from "misses!" It is waterproof and easily washable, so it doesn't get smelly. And if the litter is loose on it, it can be tipped into a garbage bag or back into the box.

Looks great but it has failed to remove any litter from her paws.

I left it in place for several weeks. When I then emptied it only a few pieces of litter fell from on top of it. Nothing in the second layer.

Perfect!

These waffle mats are amazing for light litter and very easy to clean! We had a couple leading out of the room and it got just about all the litter before it ended up anywhere else in the house. Highly recommend!

Keeps the litter neat!

I have a litter box in my bathroom and the 3 cats always were carrying litter out on their paws. I had to sweep every day. With this litter mat there is much less litter to be swept from the floor. It works really well.
