Very decent basic crate.

My small 47lb Labrador fits in the medium crate quite well standing but a taller dog may not. A normal size labrador probably needs the Large. Solid construction and fairly easy for one person to put together. Would not use for puppies or to start crate training as the gaps between the bars are fairly big and a puppy could possibly get a limb stuck and panic or a dog not used to crates could easily get purchase on it to chew. The arm of the latch did fall off on one side when open but it slotted back in (and I used some wood glue) and did not effect the usability or security of the latch. The double doors are great, if I ever want to move it to a different spot it’s more versatile. I have a six cube storage shelf on top to store all my dogs supplies, and it fits perfect. All in all quite happy with this crate.

Horrible for a Pitbull

It came with some pieces “split/broken”, screws had fallen out. There were places that were damaged such as gashes in the wood. For the price I paid I feel it should not have came in this condition.

Pet Abode Is The Perfect Solution

I was Looking for a dog crate that looked great and could also support the weight of a flat screen tv at the foot of a bed. The Pet Abode was the perfect solution!

Great! Looks nice

Great great, I’ve gotten so many compliments from our friends. Looks nice and is high quality. Bed is also waterproof and easily washable for puppy accidents.

Love the look!

Hubby and I recently rescued a mastiff puppy and needed a new crate but didn't want the ugly wire mesh, or the plastic/wire configuration. Surfed many websites before choosing the Chewy furniture crate. Easy to put together, love how it looks and our mastiff puppy is settling in nicely. Love it.

Injured my dog..

This crate is beautiful and very spacious, but in a very short time one of the metal bars broke and my dogs foot got pinched/stuck between the bar and the bottom of the crate. Also, there is soft areas in the bottom of the crate that are opening up with a small amount of scratching from my dog. It's beautiful, but not worth the injury to your dog. My dog won't go in it now, he's too scared.

While simple to assemble, it arrived scratched.

The packing stacks each side on top of the other; as a result, one door and side were scratched by what was packaged above it.
