Theses stairs have been so helpful! I have a small Maltese mix and we had been recommended by one of her vets to invest in some stairs for her little legs. These were a good way to test the waters and she’s really good about using them to go up.. sometimes as as springboard rather than walking up but it’s a work on progress! She loves using them to go up, but not so much on the way down and avoids them at times but I think she just needs practice. They seem pretty stable despite being made of foam, which I was weary of at first but they’re sturdy and soft. The only downside is that it doesn’t have good floor grip so if you plan on using it on slick flooring like wood, these will slide with every bump. They do work a lot better on carpet, but I wish the traction was a little better. Otherwise would definitely purchase again!

My kitty has arthritis and has trouble jumping up on his window seat. These steps are perfect for him to climb up there. I am thinking of buying another set.

This was way too short to use next to my bed - however, the foam is firm enough to withstand my cats for years to come I'm sure. It is not slippery at all. Probably too narrow to use for a LARGE dog
