NOPE

I bought this a few months ago for my dad’s brand new car. Our dog does not go in the car often but yesterday we took her to the vet and used this cover for the first time. HARD PASS. it does not stay in place at all. She jumped into the car and the cover completely slid, causing a dirty paw print to land on his cream colored seat. He was not happy. It just does not work well at all. Maybe for smaller dogs. But not for an 70+ pound dog. Also, it is extremely difficult for humans to buckle their seatbelts under this. I do not recommend. Super disappointed.

OK

Only somewhat effective. It's way too long for a VW Jetta and thus doesn't fit securely. After turning around a few times, the dog had this half way off the seat with half the seat exposed.

Strap broke first time using it.

First time used and the strap broke. Im Guessing the others will all break soon. Not well secured.

This seat cover is garbage.

1. There is no portion that hangs over the seat front, so when the dog jumps on, the seat below is exposed. I had to buy mitten clips to hold it in place. 2. The plastic belt clip behind the headrest fails to secure the strap, and loosens. 3. The pieces that you push between the seat bottom and back to secure the cover are badly made and i have had to re-sew one into place once only to find that the other one came out. Frustrating

Doesn't stay in place

The seat cover doesn't stay in place. It "rides up" exposing the actual car seat, expising the actual seat to getting dirty or hair on it etc. I thought about devising some sort of weights that would keep it covering the seat.But I don't want to fuss with it, so I am going to return it.

slot for seat belt buckle

The cover is a little larger than my seat, but I was aware because the measurements were provided but I like the features this cover provides. When I put this cover in my car it worked out perfectaly. I love the slots available for the seatbelt buckles and the ability for it to tie around the headrest allowed it to adjust to fit as I needed. It has also proven to be durable so far. My dog is just over 60 lbs and it stays in place with no problems. I have no complaints.
