Your Privacy Rights
Chewy takes your privacy seriously and can provide you with the following options.
- Right to opt-out of Sharing of Personal Information/Opt-out of Targeted Advertising: You have the right to opt-out of sharing of personal information or opt-out of targeted advertising.
- Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Data: Sensitive Personal Information, such as your precise location, help us show you offers, ads and content you may be interested in. If you limit the use, we'll only use your sensitive personal information as needed by law. Currently, Chewy does not store sensitive personal information as defined by the laws, but you can save this setting for future.
- Right to Know: You have the right to request, twice in a 12-month period, a report that details the categories of personal information collected about you, the categories of sources from which the personal information is collected, the purposes for collecting the personal information, the categories of third parties which whom we share the personal information and the specific pieces of personal information collected about you over the past 12 months.
- Right to Delete: You have the right to request that we delete certain personal information we collected from you.
- Right to Correct: You have the right to correct personal information we hold about you.
Sharing your personal information with our partners allows us to show you Chewy offers, ads or content that you might like when you visit other sites. This activity may be considered a sale, sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising.

Unless you are logged into your Chewy account, your opt-out will be specific to the browser and/or device you are using to make the request. Note that if you opt out, you may still see ads for Chewy, although they may not be personalized to you. Unless you are logged into your Chewy account, if you clear your cookies, or use a new browser or device to access the site, please submit a new request to re-apply your opt-out choice.
Note that you also can use the Global Privacy Control ("GPC") to signal your opt-out preference. To learn more about the GPC please visit https://globalprivacycontrol.org. You can update your browser settings at any tie to restrict or disable certain cookies. Modify your Sensitive Personal Information Preferences
Right to Know/Access:
If you have a Chewy account, you can access the personal information Chewy has about you by logging into your Chewy Account.
Regardless of whether you have a Chewy Account or not, you can request a report of the personal information Chewy has about you. We'll email you a link to the report within 45 days.
Starting on July 1 2024, A list of third parties where Chewy may have disclosed personal data is available to residents of qualifying states. Please call Customer Service at 1-800-672-4399 to request.

If you have a Chewy account, you can access, update or correct the personal information Chewy has about you within your Chewy Account.
Right to Delete:
If you have a Chewy Account, you can delete your Account and the personal information Chewy has about you by logging into your Chewy Account and selecting Privacy Preferences from your Account Settings.
