Can you put this under the aquarium glass? Will it work that way?

This heater cannot be buried under substrate.

Does this provide radiant heat? Or does the reptile have to be in physical contact with it for them to get warm?

This heater is designed to provide radiant heat.

If this heater hits the limit and automatically turns off, can I unplug it to "reset" it and it will turn back on? Or does that mean there is something wrong with it and a new one would need to be purchased?

The habitat heaters normal operating temperature is about 95-105 degrees F. It has a thermal shut off at 119 degrees F, this means if the heater becomes encapsulated and starts to overheat once it hits 119 degrees it will turn off, once it cools down it will come back on but if it keeps shutting off then you need to make sure to check your enclosure to see why it keeps shutting off.

Package not delivered at front door

How about delivering at the front door only the last two times one of the packages was in the middle of the yard and the other ones the mailbox, which is OK but it’s supposed to be at the front door some carbon got crushed too

I still have the one I bought 10 years ago

I just recently purchased a second one. Not because the first one died. I have had it for 10 YEARS! My tortoise is growing and now needs TWO! Thanks Chewy and Zoomed !!!

Never delivered

They use Ontrac. Ontrac said it was delivered. I have cameras in front of my house and at my front door and they had never delivered in contact with them. There is no number of the time you call her numberthat they have on the website it does not go through very disappointing.

what I needed

Couldn't keep my tortoise's enclosure warm enough, looks like it is what it needed. now Needed more warmth in the enclosure, the lamp keeps it warm from the top down but needed more warmth from the bottom. Works well, I tried it out for a week, keeps it at a study temp. Should be easy to clean and I like the size. I think she'll like it when she wakes up from the winter.

Perfect for Adult Iguana!

I have owned one of these for my now 18 year old iguana since he was little. It has lasted about 13 years! Seriously! Never had an issue with it - absolutely love it. Its pretty easy to clean except when he goes to the bathroom on it and it gets into the grooves. It has gotten a lot of liquids around it and under it - never hurt it. Buying another one for his travel cage.

He seems to love it!

I previously bought a dog/cat heater for my sulcata, but immediately regretted my decision and returned it. This heating pad is what I replaced it with and it seems to be a lot better. He sleeps on the pad all night long and since the pad is on whenever you plug it in, it can be used with an outlet timer.
