good value

these lamps are incredible for my beardies. the red lights I was told to use before are TERRIBLE for their little eyes so I am so relieved to have found a product to keep them safe and comfy at night when my AC is cranked.

Not long life bulb

Only used it for a lil over a month and not left in 24/7 and it has already stopped working. Used to last a lot longer years back

The go-to night heat source for reptiles

I use ceramic heat emitters for night time heat for any of our animals that need it, as red light bulbs can end up causing harm to their eyes or shin with extended use. Never had a problem with ZooMed's CHEs, and only ever had one stop working after years of extended use and being lugged through several moves. Highly recommend for bearded dragons and uromastyx, as well as chickens during the colder months.

defective

I bought 2 bulbs and both were bent at the base so the threads were off. There is no way to make them fit in the fixture.

Works as advertised

Keeps things nice and toasty for my RF tortoise without a harsh heat lamp sapping the humidity. Would recommend keeping on 24/7 as it can take a while to heat up compared to a lamp.
