Broken glass

I went to open the package yesterday and can hear lots of broken glass. I am scared to even open the package. Can I return for new UVB lights please?

Horrible quality

We've literally blown through 3 of these with the last 4 months. Not the same quality as before

Didn’t even last a full year

These bulbs used to last over a year, even if you had to replace them because their strength weakened, but this one didn't even stay on that long and they’re ridiculously expensive, so needless to say I’m disappointed

Read Directions

I see a lot of reviews stating that the bulb broke when trying to put it in the fixture, but as with all long bulbs, you have to follow the directions and put them in in a very specific way. The item came undamaged and works as it should for my leopard gecko in his 4x2x2 enclosure.

10.0 proper for veiled chameleons

Don’t listen to pet stores change out your bulb even if you got the 5.0 for free

Tricky to fit, but good lamp

We use this for our box turtles. Its a good bulb, but I do wish it lasted longer. I have to wonder about the reviews talking about it being too long - these have to be put in very carefully and in a certain way. READ the instructions to avoid breaking the bulb and any other issues.
