Cat loved this until it broke in half

The second star is only because our cat loved this tower so much. But right on cue, once we got past the 365-day replacement period, it broke completely in half. The top level of the tree broke completely free from the base, and our cat came crashing down out of it. We'd noticed that the construction wasn't super stable from the beginning, but we never thought that our 10.5-pound cat could cause it to fail catastrophically. I'm frustrated that Chewy doesn't offer any recourse for the poor build quality, and I would advise finding a better quality item elsewhere.

Smaller than expected, not sturdy, and fragile!

Be aware that this cat tree is quite small and not very stable or sturdy. It should only be considered suitable for smaller cats. Our relatively large cat, at 13 pounds, could barely fit in the box platforms on each tier, and he very nearly knocked it over whenever he would try to jump and climb to the top. This morning we heard a loud crash and found that the top tier had broken entirely off from the box enclosure and left splinters of wood everywhere. There are definitely better quality options at this price point.

Multi-level cat tree

My kitty, Viktor, really enjoys climbing all around his new condo! It was easy to put together and was a great bargain. The only thing I could say about it that might be important to understand is that I wouldn't recommend it for cats that are above normal in weight. I'm not sure what normal is, but in the photo, Viktor, is only a kitten, about 4 months old. I have seen adult cats that this would be fine for, but I've also seen cats that would be too big for it without adding some extra support or modifications to the tree.

amazing

my cats are obsessed with this. great price and size. super clean, easy to put together, aesthetically pleasing, and sturdy! my girl cat is a big girl and she can climb this thing like there’s no tomorrow. cats can play and roughhouse with no issues! definitely a must buy tree!

Cats Like it for looking out window

The tree has edges around the platforms so my cats like to rest their heads on there while they are sleeping. The tree is not perfectly stable and does wobble a bit but doesn't seem to bother my cats. Cream/beige color is very bright and nice. Not the highest quality tree but great for what it is.

A bit small but we love it

Our cats love it, even though I think this is ideal for regular sized breeds, my ragdolls, who are larger, still enjoy it. If it fits, they sits! :)

like the cat tree but poor support

I made the mistake of assuming all the hardware was there and assembled this only to find I’m one a screw short. Unlike most products, there is no way to contact the manufacturer to get one. So do I take it apart and return it? Or try to find a replacement (no luck in 2 hardware stores so far and they’re $10 online). My cats love the product so that’s good.

a bit disappointed

I love the cat tree and my cats absolutely LOVE it, however it has only been in use three weeks and the carpet is coming off on one of the legs already and it is not even one they scratch on.

Little Tuxxy loves it! Makes him crazier than before!

I bought him this tree thinking it might keep him from parkoring all over the furniture... it only made it worse, haha! He loves it. Not sure why I bought a white one with a black cat.
