Description of Materials Discrepancy

Not sure what to think. On Chewy, this is listed has having a plant material (sisal) covering, which is harmless to cats if ingested- the main reason I got these, because my cats love to tear up my & chew ottoman... But when these arrived, there was NOTHING to indicate any plant materials. Only warnings about how theres a material known to cause cancer in California, and everything else is PVC, polyurethane, and polyester... I was hoping my cats wouldn't have to ingest any plastic.

Great for cats, maybe not *my* dog!

I honestly love it as a human. My dog however, who is a fan of every other cat or small bed that he can hide in, will not go inside this. May not be what you’re looking for if your pet likes small spaces but I would have sworn buying this he would have enjoyed it. It’s well made though so I gave it to the shelter for the cats! :)

Perfect for my need

Im using this as a step up into bed for my Senior Cat . He does use it and he likes to lay on top rather than inside.

My cats love it

Glad to see they brought this back. I got the black vinyl one and it has lasted for years. Also hair doesn't stick to it and it's easy to keep clean. My cats love going inside and on top.

Very Sturdy

My cats are a little chunky, so those cardboard houses have a low survival rate in my household. This ottoman cathouse is very sturdy. My biggest guy can sit on top without the whole thing collapsing. Lower stars cuz of delivery. I don’t know what Fedex does to their packages but there was a big gouge on the side when received. Thankfully, it didn’t affect the contents, tho I always have dented cans buying wet cat food.

Nice cat cave

This item is sturdy and made well. It's has plenty of room to snuggle up and not too big or too small. I made a change to it because my cat is afraid of everything and since the inside is covered in a black fabric it was very dark which some pets might enjoy but not mine. I took the top off and just laid a small piece of white fleece over the top. Now she can see that it's safe in there. I'm very happy with it. If you have a normal pet I'm sure they will like it!
