Great modular gate

We got this to prevent our dog from soiling the carpet overnight in a specific location in our bedroom. It has worked well. We are able to leave some space on the sides for our cat to go around while keeping our dog behind it.

Love the pull out sections

I adopted a declawed senior at the shelter, i had to make double sure she did not venture outdoors because of her defenses being compromised. Although she shows no interest in the outdoors i love the security of this gate.

Lightweight and easy to store

These gates are awesome for freestanding. My dogs are not escape artists so they work well to contain the when and where I want them. My only negative is that they kind of have an odor that seems to be lingering even after three weeks.

Folding Dog Gate

The product itself was great, however, the box, plastic and item did smell like mildew. It was cold enough for me to leave it outside so the odor disappeared. I would have given it a 5 if it wasn't for the smell.

Very cheap construction and terrible smell

The first thing I noticed about this gate about 2 days after use, it smells terrible (sort of like bleach). Then after about 10 days of use, the gate fell over and a big chunk broke off one of the spindles. I do NOT recommend purchasing this gate!

Flimsy and cheap

I bought one last year and reordered another one. It was not the same. Color is lighter and the wood is thinner, lighter and cheaper. One of the slats broke the first day so I glued it.

Very flimsy, falls over all the time and the cats can easily jump over it. Do not recommend.

Freestanding pet gate

It went well with our stair railing and it serves it's purpose well. No nail holes or any patching needed. When puppy is trustworthy- gate will come down. Perfect for us.

Doesn't help

It doesn't work well. My 10 lb maltipoo can push the sections with her nose, so it doesn't keep her out of places. Needs little feet to keep it in place better.
