Scranton Jr. Executive Desk

Top and bottom are two different colors. Top is white as expected and as ordered. Ordered desk on 7/31. After a few delivery reschedules on behalf of Wayfair desk was delivered on 8/12. The bottom is discolored with yellow browning staining over the discolored paint. In looking at packaging the top was manufactured in 2024 with the bottoms made in 2021. Would give it a zero if I could and customer service has been inherently dismissive and unhelpful in helping to resolve this. They ordered a replacement bottom to exchange and then promptly canceled it because it's not eligible. It's a lot of money for a desk that needs to be returned, exchanged, or completely painted to make it at least match.

I recently purchased this desk for my home office. It replaced a Whalen L shaped dark wooden one. I absolutely love the style of this one, But I am blown away by the storage that I have gained. I assumed that going from an L-shaped desk to a standard one was going to be a loss of storage. I was wrong. This is a win-win, as I gained space in my office along with more plentiful drawer space. The only thing I lost was surface space, so I compensate it for that by adding a consul table. I put this together in an hour or so, with some help from my husband.

This is a beauty of a desk! I paid to have it assembled which required minimal work as only the back and top come detached. The left and right drawers come already assembled to its unit. Sturdy and roomy with plenty of drawer space. Delivery was 5 stars. It’s very heavy so you’ll need help getting the boxes into your home since delivery only leaves it at your doorstep.

Amazing! Classic, functional, roomy. The black top and white cabinets give it a bit of a French aesthetic.
