Beautiful item. Easy assembly with the clear instructions. I would have preferred wood dowels so I could wood glue to strengthen the connections. This item came with plastic dowels. Beautiful headboard. Simple to put together for one person as well. Color is beautiful and the quality is high. Because the legs and the wings add to stability, we did not connect the headboard to our bed frame so I can’t comment on the ease of that. Because it is in-front of a large window I used small cork over wood blocks between the headboard and the windowsill. Very solid when you lean against it sitting up in bed and now doesn’t crush the curtains like our last headboard.
