SUPER easy to put together. Clear instructions for each step. I assembled it in about 1 1/2 hours by myself. Its the perfect fit for my husband's home office. It is definitely grey. If you want a brown or warm wood, pick a different option. It goes well with cool tone rugs, decor, furniture. We have a printer on one corner of the desk with plenty of space left over. These tables are exceptional. For the price, you can't beat it. It does not bother me that the table top is 2 long pieces. I bought 3 of them for various purposes.
