Excellent solid desk. True to color in picture. Came in 4 large pieces (2 drawers, middle panel and desktop) that required 12 screws. very easy assembly...20 minutes tops.

I had high hopes and was VERY disappointed. Its a beautiful set and meets the specifications listed, but it's FULL of pock marks EVERYWHERE - all in very obvious locations; desk top, front of credenza and hutch. The image implies that there will be some wood grain, but the unit is BLACK. A number of drawers drag and cause damage immediately after purchase. The right cabinet door on the right side of the hutch doesn't close flush, and the glass won't come clean - it's foggy/murky/scratched. The stain on the desktop was damaged too. I've been happy with previous purchases from Wayfair, tho for much less. Perhaps it's because the item was manufactured in Vietnam.... I asked for a 15% discount which Wayfair immediately accepted, but in hind sight, it wasn't enough. I'm not pleased with the price vs quality of the purchase. Honestly, I'd look for something else if given the chance again.... Sorry Wayfair.

From afar , it looks very rich. That’s good enough for me. I could have paid twice as much for another set but it is functional , sturdy and I saved $5,000! Delivery was quick and easy too.

Some minor damage (probably from delivery), such as (fortunately inconspicuous) scratches and one (fortunately redundant) handle broken in two. Oddly, the hutch does not fit very flush with the desk. I think these could easily be manufactured to fit better. We were able to wedge and secure it well enough, but this was disappointing. Overall, though, it is a beautiful and solid set, and we're very happy with it.
