Oconee Sleigh Bed

Beautiful bed. I had to wait for this piece due to it being out of stock when I ordered the rest of the set when it was on sale. Worth the wait.

The frame is well constructed and solid. It has a beautiful wood gain and color which matches my existing furniture perfectly. Very easy to assemble, I would purchase this again.

Nice quality. Actual wood. I added a plywood sheet on the slats for added support as the slats seemed very minimal. Maybe for a child or young teen and a light mattress it would be fine, but I’m, well, a bit fat, and my mattress is also a very heavy memory foam hybrid. I still used a low-profile box spring. The standard was too high for me but if you like a tall bed either looks and works fine. You can see in the photos the hue of the wood is different from the first photo. The first photo shown is the accurate one. The wood is a warm oak hue, NOT a the deeper almost walnut tone I hoped for. Not sure why the other photos are so misleading, but as I saw the rest of the set (actually called ‘Grandpa’s Cabin’) had the more orangeish tones I wasn’t holding my breath too hard. It’s almost impossible to find full size beds in all wood now, so I figure having the quality it more important than it matching my nightstand and dresser. I certainly didn’t need a queen bed for just myself (and a cat!)

Perfect solution to an old bed that was incomplete. The color almost perfectly matches the existing bedroom set. Easy to assemble and seems of very good quality.

Quality is great. Looks just as pictured. BUT! - note that the length of this bed (head-to-foot) is sized to be large enough for a *california* king. This is excessively large and leaves a big gap. I trusted the "King" selection, but should have looked at the specific dimensions.

Everything!! From the first phone call to Wayfair, through the whole process, the delivery went so smooth, my husband and I put the bed together in 3 hours. The bed is so sturdy, the finish is beautiful, for the money you could not ask for more. Wayfair you rock!!!
