Good coffee table replacement
We loved the coffee table in our living room, but with a 3-year-old and 7-month old the sharp edges were too dangerous (the toddler fell on it and required stitches) so we needed a replacement. This fits the bill! Seems sturdy. Great storage for toys and books, keeping them organized and out of sight. The hinge also has a safety catch of some kind so it won’t slam down on little fingers.

    I had been looking around for a nice ottoman with storage for our walk-in closet for a while and wasnt having much luck finding something of good quality at a good price. Then I came across this and I couldnt be happier. Put together well, very sturdy to sit on and store items. Quality hinges for consistent opening and closing of the lid. Looks good and feels good with surprising comfort with the thick top cushion.

    I've been ottoman shopping for weeks. This was the perfect combination of functionality (I live in a condo and needed extra storage space) and style and price. I love the distressed leather. And this likely would have been three times the cost if I would have gone to a local furniture store.

    This had more storage space than I expected too.

    I also love the amount of space on the top of this ottoman (and that it is nice and flat for laying a tray down for meals). As you can see from the photos, I am comfortably only using a third of the foot rest space (I am 5'11").

    This is way sturdier than I assumed it would be for the price too. Before it arrived I assumed I would have to have a "no sitting on top of the ottoman" rule but this will easily support me sitting on it (175 lbs.).

    Very nice piece of furniture.

    Nice ottoman. Seems well built and sturdy. Good folding lid support brackets. The ad is a bit misleading as one statement says the top is “leather” while others refer to “vegan leather”. It is all imitation leather/naugahyde, but the material seems OK for the price. Legs are quite short and the ottoman sits too low (16”) (sits at foot of guest bedroom queen bed). We ordered 6” wooden replacement legs separately. An extra expense, but now the height is 19” and much better. All in all, satisfied with the unit.

    I chose this one because of the box stitching on top. This is a quality feature you would find on benches covered with real leather. The faux leather wasn't bad for look and feel and coupled with the quality upholstery work, I'm happy with how it looks. It came fully assembled and well packaged. The hinges and construction are sturdy. Another great value from Amazon. I searched multiple websites and through dozens of similar products from other brands. This was the best price for product. Highly recommend.

    Not sturdy, had to return.

    I like the form -- it's comfortable to sit on or rest your feet on and has good storage space -- just not a big fan of the color. It looks way more orange in person, and if it wasn't so difficult to find a brown storage ottoman/bench that wasn't really dark brown /or overly traditional looking, I'd return it.
