It took me about 4 hours by myself. Directions were good but the video was most helpful. Will it last 10 years, probably not but it's fine quality wise. I'm not hard on my stuff and it was fairly easy to put together. The worst part was the "locking" drawers - HUGE pia. If you don't have kids, and can figure out how to rid the cabinet of the hooks, it will make assembly much easier. It took me almost an hour to get the drawers in properly.
