    Pretty nice piece of furniture- feels solid. My wife was hoping to stain the wood parts a different color, but the drawer front is plastic laminate (the legs are solid wood). The plastic laminate is thick and good construction, don't think it will nick or peel much. I had to drill a 1 1/2" hole in the back for cords to the router and DVD player- a curious omission for something billed as a TV stand. I also wish they had used a thicker bottom plank so that the fifth leg wasn't necessary.

    Overall, the look is what we wanted and the price is right. I would get other pieces from this line.

    I read all of the previous reviews and went ahead and ordered anyway - I loved the look and it fit into my office design perfectly. If I had to make the choice again, I wouldn't. This was incredibly difficult to put together due to the low-quality materials and barely-adequate instructions. I've assembled a lot of particle wood furniture recently and this is by far the lowest-quality piece I've purchased, which is surprising because it's definitely not the lowest-priced.

    The good: Despite the difficulty, and how incredibly careful I had to be, I was able to assemble this with no mishaps. The drawer is straight and opens and closes easily, and both doors hang correctly. It also looks very nice and holds a fair amount of stuff.

    The bad: A lot of the required holes aren't drilled - you'll definitely want a drill with a few different bits to make pilot holes. The holes for the drawer slides are not pre-drilled, and the instructions are just barely adequate to figure out if you've done a lot of furniture assembly. Some measurements would have been nice - I was very lucky everything lined up properly. The center leg is actually angled towards the back which really drives me crazy. I decided to store some cases underneath so I wouldn't have to see it. The particleboard is very poor quality and breaks away at every screw hole. The included hardware is also exceptionally low-quality - on par with dollar discount store materials.

    The packaging: The box was so beat up when it arrived I was afraid the entire thing would be garbage. Luckily the only damage was to the interior of the larger door, so I am overlooking it. That said, the packaging is exceptionally weak - it came packed in a single-layer cardboard box that was so flimsy I could tear the cardboard open with my hands. There were foam corners glued to the exterior of the box to protect the corners (half were torn off), but nothing along the sides which is where all of the damage was. I'm really surprised at how poorly this was packaged.

    Yes, it's a cute design, very unique and eye-catching - just not enough to overlook the really bad engineering and flimsy materials. This will not hold up under regular use, so I am using it for storage of things I use very infrequently. Look elsewhere for a more robust piece of furniture.

    I knew from other reviews that the material was on the cheap side. However, I was not anticipating the pre-drilled holes and hardware to be so completely wonky.

    The screws shredded the holes during assembly, which fortunately can't be seen from a walk around.
    The doors were a nightmare. The metal on their hardware was bent, so that I couldn't even get the screws to fit in properly. Now the doors sag, and don't lineup correctly, looking uneven. I think I disassembled just the doors about three times trying to get them to fit better... I've thrown in the towel at this point. It's a nice... height though?
