This looks, from across the room, like it did online, but once you get close the drawers do not shut cleanly with the panels. Also, there was a large chip out of one of the sides when it got here, luckily it did not prevent assembly. Also the panels that separate the drawers from one another to hide the gap between them is particle board like the rest but the bottom edges are not covered so the dust falls into the drawers which is the worst part about it for me. I had to put tape over it to stop the dust from falling onto my clothes. The drawers are very shallow and do not fit very tall stacks. Normally I would stand my shirts up like books so that I can see each one and the drawers are not tall enough to do that. I regret my decision to purchase this chest of drawers. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

    Disclaimer: I'm an adult male that has put together my fair share of furniture around the house growing up. I'm one of those "just look at the picture" to assemble it types of guys now in my adult years and love d.i.y stuff.

    I read the reviews about the instructions being terrible. I feel like the instructions were meant for someone that didn't need much hand-holding. and when I saw those reviews about the instructions being terrible. i thought its can't be that bad but the reviews are correct to the extent that the instructions are not beginner-friendly. So if you don't have much experience putting furniture together do yourself a favor and get that expert assembly. Aside from the instructions issue, this product is sturdy and does the job that you need it to. no complaints. I own two products from this company which is this 5 drawer chest and the 6 drawer double dresser which i also recommend.

    I should have listened to the reviews. This dresser took me hours to put together and it's already falling apart. It's cheap quality and way overpriced for what you're getting. The drawers keep getting stuck and falling out of the tracks, and one of the dresser sides needs to keep being pushed back in place and tightened. Plus the drawers are super shallow and barely hold anything. Super disappointed.

    I've assembled two of these now, and assuming yours doesn't come in busted like some of the pictures here this dresser is about what you'd get at ikea if not a little better. The boxes kind of open like a lid, so you can inspect the major pieces for damage if you want to send it back.
    The assembly isn't great but not bad if you just take time, the fiddliest part is putting the drawer slides on each half. There's two pre-drilled holes for each slide, but it also requires you to install two additional screws that require pilot holes you need to make yourself. Really could've made those for us guys. Another annoyance is all but two of the pieces are in one bag AND those twisty peg things that screw two boards together have TWO different sizes so you need to be really careful during assembly.
    I was impressed with the back piece of this dresser, is actually really heavy to help prevent tipping if a kid is climbing or pulling on it. Overall its certainly not any less sturdy than what you'd get at ikea. One last thing, make sure you have a rubber mallet or something similar to smack the drawers together during final assembly, I feel like thats probably why some peoples drawers arent perfect.

    This product is over-engineered in places and under-engineered in others. For example the back wall is made of very think and heavy material and it does not carry any weight and it's not worth it. At the same time parts of the walls chipped off during assembly. Just during assembly I found 4 ball bearings from the drawer sliders so I wander how long those will last.
    Last but not least, too many parts that are not necessary and make assembly slower. In addition the instructions have a few unclear points.

    I've had these drawers for a little over a year now and they're so cheap. The bottoms of the drawers fall out. You have to struggle with The drawer bottom to stay in. Now I would say maybe some wood glue would be ideal. However, the drawers don't come out once they've been put in. I would not recommend these at all. They're so cheap. $200 is way too much for these. They should be more like $50. Especially since the instructions are extremely hard to follow and it is very labor intensive to put them together. Save yourself the headache.

    Listen to me, unless you have the patience of a Saint, don't do it. The hardware was all in one giant bag. The dresser came in two boxes. NOTHING was marked with part letters or numbers.

    Aside from the assembly nightmare, (I'm and HVAC tech, I can handle impossible assembly), THIS THING IS JUNK! The drawers all separated. The drawers bases do not sit in the tracks properly. Upon unpacking I noticed some dings and dents due to poor shipping. Nothing too dramatic as my son was in desperate need of a dresser. After putting this pile of junk together, I would've been better off smashing it and sending it back. Cheap is cheap, but seriously....
