I ordered this bookshelf a few weeks ago to set up a closet in a bedroom that we were combining both of my young daughters (5 and 2) in so that we could easily distinguish between their things. The shipping packaging was excellent at preventing damage and everything arrived without issue. The delivery people even carried the big heavy box up into the bedroom on the second floor for us. The assembly instructions were clear and easy to follow and I was able to assemble it in about an hour. The quality is great and it feels very sturdy and secure (came with L bracket to attach to the wall, I drilled holes in the sides to attach metal closet rods and brackets). I reached out to the customer service after using it for about a week to see if there was a way to purchase some additional shelves for it and they sent me 2 new shelves at no charge. They initially forgot to send the hardware with the extra shelves, but when I reached out and asked they mailed that over without issue. Now it has 7 shelves and is beautifully functional! Very pleased with my purchase and would definitely recommend!

    I don't normally write reviews, so for me to write a review about a storage tower seems a bit odd, BUT... I am very pleasantly surprised by this tower. First off, the packaging it came wrapped up with was phenomenal. It had a box around a box, foam "corner bumpers", and then shrink wrapped. I think it took me more time to unpack it than it took to set it up, but there was no damage, scratches, or dents in any of it because of this, so I have to give the 5 stars just for that fact. As far as the tower itself, it was very easy to put together. I did it myself in about 20 minutes. It seems very sturdy and it fits perfectly in my closet for some added space. It even has a carved out area to clear your floor trim (genius). I had all the parts needed, and I always check BEFORE putting something like this together. All in all I don't have anything negative to report about this purchase.

    I was building built in bookcases to cover air vents/pipes in my dining room. I had VERY small spacing to work with. I searched EVERYWHERE for shelves to fit the area and couldn’t find anything. I came across these and they were the exact width and height I needed. I was nervous about purchasing them because quality was a major concern, however I decided to take the chance. I ordered two. They were easily assembled and we replaced the cheap, cardboard back with thicker, sturdier wood. We covered the majority of the shelves so that the pressed board look wasn’t visible. We are VERY happy with these for our project. We did reinforce every inch of this shelf, as I said, because it’s being used as a built in shelf. People who have seen them are shocked at how amazing they look in our room.

    I do have to say that for what they are, they are extremely expensive. Half the price would be reasonable. One of the long boards for the side of a shelf came severely damaged but we were covering it anyway so it wasn’t a big deal. They aren’t extremely sturdy on their own. I’d highly suggest making sure they are anchored to your wall for extra support, especially if you have little ones or pets. Plus, the odd number of shelves it comes with (3) is so awkward that my OCD made me buy additional material from Home Depot to cut additional shelves for them. (By the way, according to the questions asked, if you want more shelves, you will be told you have to buy complete, additional shelving units)

    Overall, I’d recommend purchasing if you need something small for your space. If not, keep looking. AND REINFORCE AS MUCH AS YOU CAN!

    I liked that this was easy for me to set up on my own, and that it is tall and narrow. It is indeed a little bit wobbly if you don't install the bracket that screws on the top and into your wall to prevent falling or leaning. After screwing that in, though, no complaints!! Seems sturdy enough otherwise. Has a small curve cut out the bottom of the shelf in the back so that it fits snug over any molding and will be flush against the wall.
