    The desk arrived in two flat boxes. It requires lot of patience and time to read assembly instructions and put it together. Even the drawers need to be put together. It is achievable and ends up a nice product. When one considers the labor time (expense) to assemble it, I question the bargain value of it because we are doing the costly labor of putting it together. However, it came out nice and fits where we intended it. Seems durable when finished and for the money we expect to get our moneys worth

    the drawers took me FOREVER(honestly like 4million tries) to figure out which way to put the dang slidy things. and it was missing a screw. which i can find no where because it's flat and tiny, but that's okay. i can stand on this to reach a shelf, i have plenty of room to roll my chair around. i got a cute little bookshelf for the top cause the bottom wasn't enough, but dang it looks good.

    The assembly instructions were very difficult to understand. The more detailed instructions were written in Chinese. The English version only included small pictures and were not very clear. After I had the desk assembled, I could only get one drawer to fit. The second drawer was just a little too wide to fit in the opening and the one drawer slider broke while trying to get the drawer to fit. Most of the desk can be put together by one person, but you should have two people to put the top on the base. Assembly took close to 2.5 hours but that was mainly because of the instructions. Many of the screws and connectors look very similar in the instructions due to the size of the pictures. Overall it will serve its purpose, but it does not look like it will hold up for years of use.
