Low quality cheap desk
Bought this for a very small office space in the living room. The design is cute and modern. But the quality is just terrible. I guess you get what you paid for. All the edges came torn and broken apart. The drawers did come together. I was worried that parts wouldn’t fit looking at the way things came. All the parts were not even labeled right. We had to figure it out from just the pictures and non-English guide. I would love to return it but the box didn’t come well and we were already halfway assembling when I find those parts all torn. I guess I’ll use it for now and save up for a more studied desk in the future.

When I bought this desk it was about $165. There were only a few reviews for it and I couldn't find a lot of information anywhere. I wasn't expecting it to be great quality given the price. Honestly I was surprised. After about 3 hours I got it put together by myself. There were a couple dents in the white board likely from delivery but overall it was a lot sturdier than I had anticipated so I wasn't upset. It is heavy and you could potentially damage it trying to build it by yourself so I would recommend two people. There was some cracking of the thin surface layer when I was screwing things in but nothing noticable when. It was all said and done and it doesn't wobble. Overall you're getting a good size, decent quality desk for your money. I don't regret it!

The materials seemed pretty cheap. It came with some screw missing and alot of little knicks and cracks on the wood. Trying to install the drawers was a nightmare and one of the ball bearings to move the drawer back and forth broke so I had to just glue the handle on so it looks like there is a drawer there. Once the table is put together, it is pretty sturdy and looks really good though. the sum of the parts seem much stronger than the individual parts. We will see how it holds up. Overall I feel the desk should have been priced lower for what you get.

The desk looked like it had a metal strong legs and sides, but it was hard to see on the photos so I took a chance and ordered it. Overall I wouldn't recommend at the price I paid.
The finish on the desk surface is nice looking, even in person. There's a small part that is metal, but the rest is very low quality press wood with thin white veneer (like you can scratch it off if you're not careful). I'd expect something this quality to cost $60 and be sold at KMart.
The instructions were a bit tough to follow and we were only able to get one of the drawers fully installed and working (approx 2hrs total; expert at Ikea builds). The other drawer was irregularly shaped (like a few other parts) and couldn't be used. Some of the boards were beat up from the packaging and delivery. Given the limited sturdiness, I'm not sure how long this will last :/ but it would be too much work to take this apart and try to return it.
