I bought this desk for my middle schooler so that she would have a dedicated workspace for distance learning since we are still on lockdown in California. IKEA was sold out with no ETA for more stock, but this was a similar size and (relatively) reasonably priced.
The Good: It arrived within the specified delivery dates. It is heavy, sturdy, and fairly easy to assemble. It also is a good, compact size for a kid's room and has adequate storage for her books, pencils, etc. She likes the shelf below the desktop.
The Bad: The packaging was not adequately reinforced to prevent damage. It had clearly been dropped on the corner, and since the top of the desk was packaged facing the outside of the carton, the front left corner of the desk is also crushed. Since "school" has already been in session for 2 weeks, returning it and waiting for another isn't feasible, BUT I'm unhappy that I paid $250 for a visibly damaged item and feel bummed about giving my kid something that was broken before she got to use it.

The desk came with a deep scratch on the top part which is noticeable. Unfortunately we didn't catch it or the other scratches/dents (inside of desk) until we were well into putting it together. Aside from that, the desk is nice and will serve its purpose --- a study area for my daughter. Didn't take too too long to assemble but long enough. Lol.
