Only thing I had trouble with was the dowels for the drawer fronts were thicker then the holes .. I had to ream them out a little. The instructions are kinda vague but if you are familiar with building small furniture like this you should not have much trouble.

This products was one of the more difficult pieces of furniture I have had to assemble. I was able to do it alone in 3 hours. I was disappointed at the very end of building when I noticed that the product wasn't level at the bottom, so it rocks back and forth. I wasn't sure if it was because I did something wrong assembling it or if it was the product's fault, but regardless, there was no way I was disassembling and returning after spending 3 hours putting it together. Overall, once completed, it looks nice and serves it's purpose.

I bought these because I have several Malm dressers from IKEA and had wanted two more -- but IKEA is out, with no indication of how long. These look like IKEA's Malm, and being made in Denmark I thought they'd be similar quality.i

These ARE very nice, once assembled, and very sturdy. But they are a NIGHTMARE to assemble!!!! I assembled a very similar MALM dresser by myself in about an hour -- but even with two of us it took well over three hours. There are SO many different pieces of hardware to sort out and count, and the basic assembly of the frame COULDN'T have been done by one person.

The pages of diagrams are incredibly difficult to decipher, and one set of screws are so tiny, and have to be inserted into such a tiny space that fingers can't hold them. You need a magnetized screwdriver -- but with one dresser these little screws had been magnetized BACKWARDS!!!! So the screwTIPS rather than the srewHEADS wanted to stick to the screwdriver.

We now have two dressers that we're very pleased with -- but wild horses couldn't drag us to any other disassembled ones!!
