The packaging of this item is the worst. I ordered this console and it showed up damaged. The top was split down the middle. I returned the entire console, waited 2 more weeks for the new one to arrive. Guess what? The new replacement was even worse. Saturated in water and mildewy on one edge...the edge that was covered with additional cardboard. Then to open it up to damaged pieces again. This time I called the manufacturer as the outside is the box said to do. Requested the new pieces which arrived and guess what? Damaged again!!! This console shouldn't travel from coast to coast. It's not packaged well enough to handle the weight and edges of the console. Additionally the height (which I did know) doesn't cover typically install heights of electrical sockets that are usually 15" from the ground and this console is only 13" high. I would add pictures, but the Amazon shopping app is being glitchy.

First of all it's exactly like anything you'll get out of Ikea same quality. As for assembly I've seen many comments that assembly was hard but I think they fixed it cause ours came with instructions and an app that gives you 3d step by step instructions a monkey could follow. As for the packaging it came in a tight heavily protected shipping box not a scratch on it . So I guess they read the reviews here and fixed all the loose ends . All in all good product easy to put together came I'm good package.
