I got this chair for my sunroom to read in or sit with my sun-loving, but heat intolerant English Bulldog. The base is great, very sturdy and I love the swivel, but the pad thats included slides all over place. Theres no way to tie it down. Its also very thin and uncomfortable. The other thing that I dont like is how the metal bars holding the chair together to the base are kind of on an angle, so the sharp corners of those bars stick out in the back. Definitely not the safest setup. I love it enough to keep it and just get another thicker, more comfortable pad that has ties to hopefully be able to secure it to the metal bars in the back..
