Dry rot wood / 2 Chairs are broken where the rope weaves around ( see pic)
We have had these for 2 years now and have had lots of compliments. However, just last week 2 of the woven chairs gave way (broke in same spot). It is very clear that the wood is not good, very very soft. I can snap into pieces with little effort. These chairs along 10 others from same collection are out of the sun and under large covered patio with zero sun or rain ever touching them. They've even been re oiled. Very well taken care of. I wish there was a way to get a hold of the manufacturer direct, I believe they would agree that the wood is 1. probably not acacia or teak or 2. just rotten wood. I will try to replace both pieces of wood and maybe add a center support screw as well. Real bummer this happend.

Super Comfy suck to put together
Love finished chair looks amazing but really comfy to sit it love the modern look! Very horrible to try to turn the allen keys in the ropes just terrible and the cross bars are not predrilled so one screw went crooked and split it thankfully was able to glue will see how long they last!HeddieSuper Comfy suck to put together
