The chairs far exceeded our expectations, particularly at this steal of a price point! They are solid wood with a beautiful, even finish. Theyre a medium-toned neutral brown wood grain is visible, but its certainly not busy. Extremely solid construction but not difficult to put together. The backs of the chairs are nice and high, and youll note that the seat is contoured for legsbehind. We bought 8 for our expandable table (...that has seen better days, ignore the table top!), only 6 are pictured here. Based on the quality, comfort, and finish, we expect these to be forever chairs for us. Seriously cant believe how good these are at way less than 100 per chair! As another reviewer also commented, we had difficulty with shipping - I assume this is because theyre sold in sets of 2. We ordered 4 sets of 2 (8 chairs), and initially only 4 chairs were delivered.
