I purchased four of these and I absolutely love the thick frame and the color of the frame! The brass is a true patina'd brass color! The fabric does have gold specks which others have stated, and I love it for any style of home. The cushion is thick and has serious bounce back. My husband loved that these chairs really helped relieve his lower back pain after dealing with extreme back tension for a week! The frame is very durable and very sturdy, the levelers were super quick & easy to adjust and voila! I cannot say enough great things about these stools and they are exactly what I was looking for to fit my Modern style.... The first barstool assembled easily and quickly. Unfortunately the second one had a hole that wasn’t drilled in the correct spot. I got it assembled after some creative maneuvering but I’m not thrilled it didn’t fit together as it should. I added pics of both to illustrate what the flaw is. The stools are comfortable with the wide bucket seat and creamy white soft fabric and I love the fact they swivel.
