This red leather trunk is just the thing for any room, there is plenty of space inside to keep blankets, pillows or even your grandchild's toys. Mine holds items for a good nap, but then adds seating for extra guests. The interior is lined with a nice black fabric that looks substantial. This size trunk holds a lot, I’ve got 4 blankets and an extra floor pillow in it. But, its that dark red color that makes my room look sophisticated and shows quality in the workmanship. I did make one small change to my trunk, I replaced the small black fiberglass legs with larger wooden ones, it’s a very good look that gives my trunk a great accent. I am very happy with this piece, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for storage and great looks.

It was meticulously made, the stitching is beautiful. The color is beautiful and it looks and feels like real leather. As you can see in the picture, it’s almost an identical match to the leather loveseat that we currently have. There’s a huge amount of storage , and it’s very sturdy to sit on as well as being comfortable. We have an ottoman that is leather and we paid $700.00 9 years ago with $100 delivery charge. The cost of this ottoman and the quality with a two day delivery is unheard of. I highly recommend this ottoman, it is beautiful and I’m so pleased with this purchase. Amazon has done it again, I’m never disappointed.

    I knew there was an imperfection when I chose this product. I didn’t realize there would be two significantly large slices on the front part of the lid. It looks like whoever received it originally using a knife for scissors to slice a package open. The cuts were definitely uniform. I feel like they could’ve discounted it a little bit further. Other than that, I love the size of it and the look of it. I use it at the end of the bed for the dogs to jump up on before they get on the bed and store my sheets and pillowcases in.
    I got the 48 inch wide denim blue color. It’s very sturdy.
    I would’ve given it five stars had it not been for the two slices on the front.

    Purchased this for additional storage, style and looks. It met all those requirements. It is well made, very sturdy. Hinges are sturdy. Inside compartment is the full length of the ottoman, and not compartmentalized. It has 4 short legs that screw right into the bottom. No tools required. I think this is an exceptional value and recommend this item for any one in need of a storage bench with comfortable seating, and yes it is comfortable to sit on.

    UPDATE: August 30th, 2015. I just rec'd my second Simpli Home Storage Bench (Ottoman). These are so well made, sturdy, attractive, functional, and priced very reasonable for the quality. The first one I bought, I use in the bedroom at the foot of the bed. loaded with sportsman's gear. Having most of the time anywhere between 100 to and 150 pounds in it. Equally distributed of course. On top of that, I sit on this comfortable bench while getting dressed every morning. I can stand on this bench while cleaning the ceiling fan. The bench looks as good today as the day it was delivered.
    My second one arrived, now I have a new ottoman in my living room, almost the length of a big overstuffed Linen sofa that doesn't recline. And a place to store about a dozen or so Throws. And although pleather. It matches my other leather sofa and chairs very well. Great product. Really well made. I couldn't recommend a product more than this one for overall price, value, functionality, and quality. Oh, and it is pre-built. Just screw in 4 little legs. 5 whole minutes if that. Amazon Prime gets it there fast and free too.

Just screw them on. Rec'd them a week early then expected promise.. the extra storage is a bonus. I have been looking everywhere for something like them until I found these at a great price.
